Your images never leave your device
Stencily processes every image inside your browser, using your device's own processor. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server and there are no accounts. When you close the tab, the image and the stencil are gone.
Cookies we use
Two small cookies, both technical: one that remembers the language you chose, and one that remembers that you have seen the cookie notice. We also use DataFast, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits in an anonymous, aggregated way — no personal data, no cross-site tracking. We never use advertising cookies.
Local storage
While you are editing, the image you selected is kept in your browser's session storage so it survives a page reload. It is deleted automatically when the tab is closed.
