Service Description
Stencily (stencily.app) is a web-based tool that converts photographs or reference images into tattoo stencils. The service is intended exclusively for professional tattoo artists and creative professionals.
Intellectual Property
All software, design, graphics, and content on Stencily — including the stencil generation algorithm — are the exclusive property of Carreras LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of any images you upload and the stencils you generate. Carreras LLC does not claim any rights over your artwork or the output generated from it.
Limitation of Liability
Stencily is provided "as is". Carreras LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the service. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Carreras LLC is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Who We Are
Carreras LLC operates Stencily. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store your plain-text password at any point.
- Payment information: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card number or banking details. Stripe may collect and process payment data subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Uploaded images: Images you upload to generate stencils are stored solely for your personal use. They are associated with your account and are never shared with other users, third parties, or used for any purpose other than generating your stencil.
- Usage data: We may collect anonymized usage analytics (pages visited, features used) through DataFast to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Your Stencils Are Private
Every stencil you create is stored exclusively under your account. Stencily does not share your designs with any other artist, user, or third party. Your artwork remains yours — private, secure, and accessible only to you. We believe your creative work deserves complete confidentiality.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Stencily service.
- To manage your subscription and process payments through Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (subscription confirmation, password reset).
- To improve and optimize the application based on anonymized usage patterns.
Data Retention
We retain your account data and stencil history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and uploaded images within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
